The NTPC floating solar plant at Ramagundam in Telangana has a nameplate capacity of 100 megawatts (MW). These platforms are anchored to concrete blocks of dead weight to maximize space use, cut evaporation rate, and enhance power generation efficiency.

2. NTPC Floating Solar Plant Kayamkulam (Floating Solar Power Plant in Kerala)
The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) set up a 92-MW floating solar power project at its Kayamkulam unit in Kerala.
